Individuality!!

Rush…all around…everywhere in all the corners of world even though when the earth is round….. Everyone is running…some for money, some for love, for peace, for hatred, for revenge & there are a few who are just running, what for, they don’t have time to think about that. Since getting up in the morning till closing eyes in the night to sleep, everybody is busy & in fact some people are busy in their dreams too. Being busy is a phenomenon now a days; if you are not busy you are not valued & that is the reason sometimes people fake it also. If they have to go for some meeting, they would go late just to show how occupied they are.

Earlier days, people used to work, enjoy & had lots of time to spend with their friends & families. They were also busy but that was a different. Now you check around yourself, in work place people are busy in gossiping & bitching around, outside the office they are busy in envying others life, at home they are busy with their mobile & internet rather than their family. Nobody is satisfied; people are more interested in others life than theirs. People have time for everything except for themselves & their family. All the recent developments in technology & social network have also added up on already so called busy life of the people. People would not talk to the person sitting next but chat for hours with another one on internet, sometimes two people living in the same house also can talk only on FB or any other medium on internet only; they don’t have time to waste it on one single person at a time, rather they can talk to several ones in same time. Life is short; they want to make most of it.

….Social network also has become like a social status in this otherwise low status, low character driven world, if someone is not on FB or twitter, his social status will go down. People will see him as an alien figure.  Demands from the society side & from ourselves have risen in such a way that people have literally forgotten what does happiness & peace means. People are working like an ox who does not know what he is doing but he does it with full dedication. Just to be in a herd, people are losing their individuality; they’ll do what is ‘happening’ without even bothering whether it suits them or not. They forget that every individual is different so are their needs. Being adaptable to the society is one thing &getting lost in that one by losing yourself is another; most of the people today come in second category only. 

To be yourself, to do things in your own way as per your own wish, one needs to know oneself but where do we have time for that. People are so busy that they don’t have time to talk to themselves, to think about them, to know themselves. If one can know what does one want & if one can work towards something where one’s heart is, that will give the immense happiness & peace of mind which nothing in this world can buy. People run in the direction of wind all the time whether that suits them or not. To run in the direction of your own heart, your own desire, your own dreams is the ultimate destination, we all search for; that will come when we will know ourselves, when we will respect our dreams & vouch for them & then only our true individuality will be in force.
