Smile V/s Tears!

We live in a world where people talk more about hatred and violence than love and respect but still all we seek is love and respect from everybody we come across. Why are we like this? Have we ever wondered?

We mostly behave and think exactly opposite the way we want to. We discuss more about the problems we are facing or the world is facing rather than the blessings God has bestowed upon us and the world. We talk proudly about the fights we have had in our college but when it comes about the crushes we had, we go in to an igloo.

It is a well-known fact by now that whatever a man or woman transpires in to once becoming an adult, most of their beliefs, theories with which they live, their character, their behaviour, everything is related to the kind of childhood they've had, kind of people they were surrounded while growing up, kind of education they've had. Culture plays an important part too. But let’s say, Culture changes from state to state in this ever changing world. Neighbourhood also changes, family is definitely changing. The one thing which is almost common in most of the places is the kind of education they are receiving.

Education is a vital part of one's live but the question is what kind of education. Our world has had a wonderful history filled with people who have spread love, peace, harmony across borders but all we have to focus while growing up is how many wars somebody won? How many soldiers someone had in their Army? Remember the dates when one emperor killed thousands of people to win a battle but don't bother about the date when somebody brought peace to a group of people. You know why? Because War makes noise but Peace works silently and we are too used to give importance to something which makes noise irrespective of its impact on our lives.

We grow up among these stories and when we grow up, we tell those stories proudly because we as a human like being noticed and that is the easiest way to get noticed. Even in the families also, people will openly talk about the fights, war going around but when it comes about love, people will think twice before they talk as if it is more dangerous than what they were talking about. I've seen so many times that a person who tries to calm things down is seen as a weak link because he is afraid of a fight. He is afraid of a fight because he knows the consequences. Even everybody does but we let our fight consciousness win over our love consciousness.

It’s something on which we all have control but we forget to impress upon it. We try to control everything and everything except ourselves. Let’s focus more on the love we feel inside than the hatred we make ourselves feel. Our world starts from our inner self, our conscience, our soul. Let’s first try to win it and remove all the dark spots it carries. Let us focus more on the love and peace people have spread over the years than the blood was shed, let’s focus more on the smiles we want to see around than the tears we see.
At least, we can start it from our own small world. Spread happiness, It comes back in multiples. J
